“The Superintendent is recommending to the Board an “Interim Redistricting Plan” intended to prepare the way for the Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP). The planning process for the CMP will take place during the 2020-2021 school year. All details are on the attached pdf below. Some highlights:
*Move Kittredge Magnet School from the Nancy Creek facility to the former John Lewis facility, beginning the 2020-2021 school year.
*Use Nancy Creek facility as a fourth and fifth grade annex for Dunwoody Elementary to provide temporary enrollment relief, beginning the 2020-2021 school year.
*Remove all portable classrooms from DES until more permanent relief can be provided to the cluster via a new elementary school. *Spend $1 million to accommodate the move of Kittredge Magnet School to the former John Lewis facility.”
