The City of Dunwoody is partnering with the City of Chamblee to offer citizens the opportunity to recycle on Sunday, October 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. at at the Georgia State University Dunwoody Campus. It’s located at 2101 Womack Road (Northwestern parking lot along Womack Road). This is limited to Chamblee + Dunwoody residents only. (Please be prepared with proof of residence, e.g: Photo ID, piece of mail, etc.)
Disposal limited to residential quantities. Accepted are: aerosols, adhesives, resins, epoxies, mercury, debris/articles/devices, lawn care products, automotive products, poisons (rat, rodent, insect repellents), pesticides, fluorescent or incandescent bulbs, non-DEA-regulated pharmaceuticals, photo chemicals, hobby and artist supplies, paints and paint-related products, cleaners, and swimming pool chemicals. What will NOT be accepted: agricultural wastes, bio-hazardous/bio-medical waste, ammunition, explosives, radioactive materials.
