Choosing a REALTOR is about more than just market expertise—it’s about finding someone you can trust to guide you through a major life transition. Somebody that you would enjoy working with. My name is Matthew Weber, but you can call me Matt. I’ve lived in Dunwoody since 2010, and I’m not just a real estate agent—I’m a community leader, a podcast host, and someone who’s deeply invested in making this area the best it can be. Let me share a bit about myself, so you can decide if I’m the right person to help you find your next home!
Community Leader and REALTOR
Since getting my real estate license in 2016, I’ve helped countless families find their dream homes in Dunwoody and the surrounding areas. I understand the nuances of this market, from the best school districts to the hidden gems in each neighborhood. Whether you’re looking for a charming mid-century home in my neighborhood of Dunwoody North or a modern condo closer to the Perimeter, I’ve got the local know-how to guide you every step of the way.
What really sets me apart is my dedication to this community. I love telling the story of Dunwoody—its history, its people, and its future. My job as an agent is to make sure you feel at home here. It isn’t just about helping you to find a house; it’s about finding the right community for you and your family.
What’s Up Dunwoody Podcast
When I first got my real estate license in 2016, I knew I had to get to know Dunwoody better. But instead of just studying maps and market trends, I decided to dive headfirst into the community. What was the best way to get to know the community? With a hyperlocal podcast, I could meet the cool people in town while learning about the community. That’s how the What’s Up Dunwoody Podcast was born.
Since launching the podcast in 2018, it has grown into a staple for anyone who wants to stay informed about what’s happening in and around Dunwoody. From local events to business spotlights, I’ve covered a wide range of topics that matter to our community. Each episode is a chance for me to connect with local leaders, business owners, and residents who make Dunwoody such a special place to live.
The podcast isn’t just a hobby; it’s a way for me to stay deeply connected to the community. It helps me keep my finger on the pulse of what’s important to Dunwoody residents, so I can better serve my clients. The podcast has led to other volunteer opportunities as well.
Champion of Community Events
Since 2020, I’ve had the honor of co-chairing the Dunwoody 4th of July Parade, the largest Independence Day parade in Georgia. This event is a huge deal around here, and is one of the highlights of the year for me. Coordinating with various community groups, businesses, and participants is a massive undertaking, but seeing everyone come together to celebrate makes it all worth it.
Another event close to my heart is Dunwoody Idol, where I’ve been the emcee since 2021. This annual singing competition during the Lemonade Days festival is a showcase of local talent and community spirit. The participants typically range in age from 10 to 17, and the winner gets to perform at the Parade Festival.
It’s events like these that remind me why I love Dunwoody so much—it’s a place where people come together to celebrate, support, and uplift one another. But my commitment to this community doesn’t stop at events. The world is online. Through my Facebook groups, website and social channels, I’m constantly pushing positivity into the community.
Social Media and Digital Marketing
In today’s digital age, being a REALTOR isn’t just about showing homes and negotiating deals—it’s about having a strong online presence. That’s where I really stand out as a different type of agent. Home sellers want an agent who’s proficient on social media, and that’s exactly what I offer. I use my platforms to get your listing in front of more potential buyers than any other local agent.
I started the Dunwoody Area Community Forum Facebook group in 2018, as a platform to share my podcast episodes and curate local content. It has since evolved into a powerful, vibrant community space of over 15,000 members and has been featured in local publications, including Rough Draft Atlanta and other media outlets. I really enjoy building online communities, and I think its funny when people around town call me the “Digital Mayor”.
I’ve been recording daily Instagram Story videos since 2020. Every day, I share a snippet of my life and interests with my followers. Sometimes it’s about real estate or Dunwoody. Sometimes it’s about my kids, soccer, or movies. These videos are more than just content; they’re a way for me to stay connected with my community and my clients. This daily video streak has taught me a lot about consistency, accountability, and the power of social media. I’ve built trust with my audience because they know they can always find me there, sharing a piece of myself every day. And that’s something you can count on if you choose me as your REALTOR®.
Outside of Real Estate
I grew up in Gwinnett and went to Brookwood High School. I met my beautiful wife Sasha while attending the University of Georgia, and we got married in 2008. We have two amazing boys, Micah and Samuel. Both of my boys love LEGOS and playing soccer at Rush Union. I play weekly games in the over-40 leagues at Rush Union and Atlanta Silverbacks. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and something I love sharing with my family.
When I’m not selling homes or kicking a soccer ball around, you’ll find me working on my next big idea, usually involving some form of digital marketing and technology. I’ve always had a passion for entrepreneurship, and that’s something I bring to my real estate practice as well. I love finding creative ways to market homes and connect with clients.
