In this episode, Matt and Justin talk to Bruce Kaminsky and Matt Blankenship of DHS Dads. DHS Dads is a group for dads of Dunwoody High School students. The group started 5 years ago. They meet the first Wednesday of the month at the school in room 2122 from 7-8am. The group has about 200 dads in it now.
DHS Dads’ flagship event is adopting a struggling DHS family for Christmas each year. They also do lots of work around the grounds at the school. Their most recent meeting was April 16th and the group listened to Dekalb County School System’s Superintendent, Dr. Green.
